A great deal of purchase decisions are made at the point-of-sale. These decisions are made as a result of subconscious processes in the brain and are affected by subconscious stimuli. Only the Consumer Scout can give you an objective measurement of your customer’s movements and enables totally new possibilities in the design of POS.
Regarding the POS design you have to consider the following questions:
- How do customers move in the shop?
- Which areas do customers prefer?
- How much time do customers stay in different areas?
